Nice! The Jordan III’s haven’t been retroed in a minute. They drop March 24th in a Fire Red colorway. Be prepared for line-ups at your local Nike Town. I plan on being on one!

Yikes. Battle Royale, one of my fav Japanese flicks of all time, looks like it will be coming state-side. But unfortunately not by the same director, actors, title, or plot. No, The Condemned takes Battle Royale’s premise, throws in a bunch of wrestlers (its a WWE film), and just adds some “big swinging dicks” Hollywood direction to give you a 90 minute game show of death. Yilck!!! It opens in April, will I be there opening night? Bet the house on it.

I need to get a pair of these new Adidas Superskate shoes by Mark Gonzales. They’ve had the superskate out for awhile but these are really nice. Black banding along the sole, green stripes, and a white canvas show off Gonz’s art and signature.

In junior high I couldn’t afford to get these. I had already gotten Air Huaraches so I was banned from yet another pair of kicks. Luckily, Nike in all their infinite wisdom has decided to re-release the Agassi endorsed Nike Air Challenge Court this spring, and now that I’m an adult (my better half would say otherwise) I’ll be copping a pair or two. There is some controversy however among the hardcore retro community in that they’re not genuine retro, the challenge court logo on the back and tongue have been replaced with a swoosh-type symbol an the colors aren’t exactly the same. Ah well…

Feeling these Jordan inspired Nike Dunk series that just dropped. Had to go out and cop a pair before they all disappeared. Each design emulates an original shoe from the Jordan series. I got my hands on the black Jordan IV Dunk.

My favorite anime series of all time. The story follows a highschool freshman cursed with not only ridiculous red hair, but a tendency toward the unlucky. He joins the basketball team to win the heart of a girl, and after discovering his skills grabbing rebounds, he gains a new respect for the sport and his team. This series runs 101 episodes and ran from 1994 - 1997 in Japan. Geneon attempted to release the entire series in the US but only got to episode 25. Luckily, fans have taken it upon themselves to translate the series and its readily available online and on ebay.

Wanderlei Silva puts his belt on the line on Feb. 24th after a crushing defeat at the hands of Mirko Cro Cop. For those who don’t know, Wanderlei Silva, hailing from Brazil, has been the Pride FC World Middleweight Champion for the last six years. Do a youtube search for the guy and bear witness to one of the most brutal, violent, and tactical fighters to ever step into an MMA ring. Watch him fight against American fighter Dan Henderson live from Las Vegas at Pride 33!

I don’t usually fall for collaborations, but this one is incredible. Comes in two fresh colorways and peep the inner lining; the cheetah print is already huge in Japan so look for it on almost every t-shirt, hoodie, and sneaker this spring. Be the first to rock it. Jacket drops March 2nd exclusively at all Supreme shops worldwide.
