Before Dane Cook took the idea, added brushed metal, rivets, explosions, hair gel, tight jeans, small ironic t-shirts, and drunk college students, there was a documentary made called “Comedians of Comedy“. It profiled the lives of comics Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Zach Galafianakis, and Brian Posehn while on a US comedy tour. This is the full length feature that was made before Comedy Central picked it up for a short 6 episode run. There is some genius comedy to be seen on this DVD. Don’t hesitate to give it a look.
